The Guinness Book Of Records
You've probably heard of the The Guinness book records but did you know that it was first published in 1955 and has all kinds of interesting {and not so interesting!} records. When I say all kinds of records I mean ALL. From the craziest like largest toilet roll to the most boring largest air guitar ensemble.
My favourite record is the longest hand which is {9 hours and 19 minutes}.
Did you know that Mr Ashrita Furman {from the USA} hold the most records with a whopping 164 records including the fastest time to Pogo stick up the CN tower in Toronto. Alister Gaplin {from NZ} is second and has an impressive 36 record and has the furest distance to flick a coin.
Some bizarre records are:
A man who can fit two fists in his mouth and the highest tite rope walk at twlve metres.
Some lame ones are:
Longest line of river dancers and longest broadband connection.
Just last week a group bakers from NZ broke a record and baked the largest scone weighing at 120KG - the previous record was 60KG.
What do you think you could do to get in this awesome book?
Thanks for listening
